Bauer Roofing has been serving the state of South Carolina by
installing and repairing roofs for over 22 years. The company specializes in both asphalt and metal roofing, offering these roof types in all available colors. The challenge was to design a web infrastructure that would illustrate Bauer Roofing’s progressive and traditional roofing selections. The website would need the ability to not only illustrate the products offered but to also enable potential clients to get a feel of what their property would look like before and after Bauer Roofing.
Bauer Roofing has a passion to work with clients throughout the entire state of South Carolina and by doing this, needed to educate all possible customers through blogging.
Our team conceptualized a website that contains many features and functions that would provide solid, measurable solutions.
We started with a homepage that enabled all web visitors to instantly understand the products offered and easily navigate to the products that piqued that visitor’s interest. A floating "free estimates" button points potential customers to a contact form. For those that would like more information on roofing products, the blog snapshot is located directly on the homepage for easy access.
A “Featured Project” was also integrated into the main page that can either be displayed in a random fashion or selected by the website administrator. This feature is measured by its impressions and any subsequent click thrus. Features such as these can also be advertisements which give Bauer Roofing the opportunity to better understand what the website visitor is looking for.
The gallery was designed to enable before and after images to be seen based on both a roof type and a geographic location. This gives the website visitor the ability to drill down to what they are looking for without having to look through multiple pages of content prior to finding their possible solution.
The blog was designed as an interactive tool by adding the ability to comment, "share it" tools with all social media types, and an RSS subscribe button for frequent visitors to stay abreast of all the latest news and specials. This section of the website was designed to have a completely different look and enables the readers a rich, yet user-friendly way to educate themselves on all products and services that Bauer Roofing offers.
Title tags, H1 tags along with other SEO related items have been integrated into this website to assist with driving more traffic to Bauer Roofing.
In the initial seven days of launch, the traffic count was 182 first time users to this website, with the average website visitor clicking through to more than four different pages.
